Jennifer Krawczyk, Unlicensed Psychotherapist, NLC .0109458, joined InFocus Counseling in January of 2019 specializing in children, adolescent, individuals, family, and couples counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches that are unique to each and every client.
Jennifer is a Bachelor of Psychology graduate from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin in 2014 and Master of Marriage and Family Therapy graduate from Ashford University in Denver, Colorado in 2020. She has experience working with young children, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings, such as school, homes, and clinics. Her areas of expertise include: behavior modification in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Anxiety, Exposure Response Prevention with OCD, children challenges, relationship challenges, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and life stressors. Jennifer has also completed her substance abuse training while completing internship hours under the supervision of Lori Johnson. Jennifer is also working to complete her Certification in Addiction Counseling Level 2.
Jennifer worked for many years completing therapy in client homes while living in Wisconsin for young children with autistic diagnosis and providing their families support. Jennifer brings different experiences and knowledge that she gained over the years to many families and children in need.
Jennifer believes that the therapeutic relationship with clients’ is an important foundation to build from throughout therapy process. From this, therapist and client overcome challenges, reach goals, and promote healthy life changes. Jennifer welcomes in- person or Telehealth sessions. Jennifer believes that if you wait until you are ready to tackle a challenge then you may wait for the rest of your life, so just jump in!
